Used diesel trucks in Nebraska are a popular choice of vehicle due to their versatility when it comes to towing, and hauling. Diesel trucks tend to hold their value better and usually last longer than a gasoline-equivalent. Extra power in a diesel is a major advantage when it comes to torque, heavy-duty diesel engine's easily outperform gas engines. Some newer heavy-duty diesel trucks have more than 900lb-ft of torque making it easier for the engine to tow at a lower rpm. Mid-size and half-ton trucks are now also available with diesel engines, such as the Chevy Colorado with a smaller version of Duramax, the RAM 1500 EcoDiesel, or Ford F-150 3.0L Power Stroke. Heavy-Duty diesel trucks include the Ford F-250, F-350, or above with the 6.7L Power Stroke. Newer RAM diesel trucks have the 6.7L Cummins (also available in a High Output version). Newer Chevy and GMC diesel trucks have the 6.6L Duramax diesel.
